Then we pan and process the subgroup with eq, compression, add presence with saturation. With Logic Pro X, first we'll tighten up the vocal timing, subgroup the backing vocals, set levels, layer, and fix the pitch and tuning. Mixing background vocals like the pros, combines a series of simple and advanced mix techniques.
